Frequently Asked Questions

When is clinic? Usually every Saturday 11am-1pm & Sunday 10am-12pm. Check the homepage of this site each week to confirm.

Where does the clinic meet? 368 Havelock St. at the City College of San Francisco campus tennis courts.

How long is each clinic? Two (2) hours. We ask that you arrive on time to maximize your time on court, but please feel free to leave when needed.

How many students attend each clinic? It varies but typically 10-20 students of varying levels, ages 12 and up. We group players with others of a similar skill/play level. Our students range from beginner to intermediate, advanced, and very advanced.

How many instructors teach clinic? It varies but typically 1-3 coaches and we also take advantage of multiple ball machines. We try to keep the coach to student ratio at about 1 coach per 6 students.

Do clinics consist of only drills or do we play games as well? We love mixing things up! Instruction includes small group drills, singles and doubles play.

How do I pay? We accept cash or venmo directly to Coach Lance. Venmo @Lance-Johnson-37

Is there parking nearby? Yes, there is free street parking around Havelock & Edna St. Please read all street signs carefully. Any parking citations are the driver's responsibility. There is also the on-campus parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts. The cost is $5 for all-day parking and you can grab a ticket/pass at the self-pay stand, please read all signs.
